Improve bone density and reduce fracture risk
The ONERO™ Osteoporosis Exercise Program is supervised evidence-based exercise program designed specifically for people with osteopenia and osteoporosis to improve bone density, muscle strength, balance and coordination. This decreases the risk of falls and fractures and increases confidence and resilience.
The program is delivered in a small group setting by our qualified ONERO™ physiotherapist Jane Golden who has undergone specialised training. It consists of a combination of high-intensity resistance and impact training plus balance and coordination exercises.
It is recommended that you attend twice a week for 60 minutes to achieve and maintain long-term bone health. Following an initial assessment, each aspect of the program is tailored to your individual needs and gradually progressed in a class style format.

Muscle strength

Functional confidence

Targeted exercises for osteopenia or osteoporosis can
Improve Bone Strength
Structured loading exercises stimulate bone remodelling, helping increase bone mineral density over time. This reduces fragility, supports skeletal integrity, and promotes long-term bone health in people with low bone mass.
Enhance Stability
Targeted balance and coordination training improves proprioception and neuromuscular control. This lowers the likelihood of falls, enhances movement confidence, and supports safer everyday mobility for individuals at higher fracture risk.
Build Lean Muscle
Progressive resistance work boosts muscle strength and endurance, providing essential support to weakened bones. Stronger muscles improve posture, functional capacity, and overall resilience during day-to-day activities.
